The SUNBIO project was presented at the 15th TSME International Conference on Mechanical Engineering (TSME-ICoME 2025), held from 9–12 December 2025 at the Arnoma Grand Hotel Bangkok, Thailand. The conference was co-organized by the Thai Society of Mechanical Engineers (TSME) and Mahanakorn University of Technology (MUT) and took place in Bangkok.
TSME-ICoME 2025 served as a leading international forum for academics, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to present cutting-edge research, exchange knowledge, and build collaborative networks in mechanical engineering and related disciplines. The programme featured high-level keynote lectures, technical sessions, and interactive discussions designed to stimulate innovation and advance science and technology.
Representing the SUNBIO project, Professor Mayorkinos Papaelias from the University of Birmingham actively participated in the conference, showcasing SUNBIO’s research and technological contributions within the broader mechanical engineering and applied sciences community. His participation highlighted the project’s interdisciplinary approach and its relevance to advanced engineering solutions, non-destructive evaluation, and sustainable technological development.
The event brought together an international audience, creating valuable opportunities for dialogue between academia and industry, and reinforcing SUNBIO’s commitment to fostering innovation, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration across scientific and engineering domains.
