On 4 November 2025, SUNBIO participated in the Seafood Sustainability Hub 2025 Workshops – Research Hubs, held at our coordinator’s premises, the Institut de Ciències del Mar – CSIC in Barcelona, Spain.
Our coordinator Jacopo Aguzzi, together with his team Nixon Bahamon and Joan B. Company, presented the SUNBIO talk titled: “Digital and Robotic Technologies for the Monitoring of Fish Stocks”.
The event brought together around 50 presenters from research institutions, industry, and innovation projects. It served as a collaborative platform to exchange knowledge and explore synergies among similar initiatives and sister projects such as DIGI4ECO, MERLIN, and REDRESS.
This participation strengthened SUNBIO’s presence within the wider marine research and innovation community.
