The SUNBIO project was presented during the TECTONIC Workshop held on 27 May 2025 at the premises of Atlantis Consulting in Thessaloniki, Greece. Organized within the framework of the TECTONIC project, the workshop focused on sustainable blue growth and the convergence of research, technology, and cultural heritage.

During the event, Atlantis Consulting presented the vision and objectives of the SUNBIO project, highlighting its innovative approach to integrating renewable energy, biodiversity enhancement, and carbon sequestration.

The TECTONIC project is implemented under the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions & Support to Experts programme, specifically within the thematic area “Research and Innovation Staff Exchange.” Its overarching objective is to facilitate the exchange of skills and knowledge, alongside the implementation of training actions for the development, improvement, and evaluation of innovative materials, techniques, tools, and methodologies. These efforts aim to support the creation of practical solutions and commercially viable products for the conservation, restoration, and management of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
