The SUNBIO consortium convened for its 18-month Plenary Meeting on 17 November 2025 at the Institut de Ciències del Mar in Barcelona, held in a hybrid format. This was the first consortium meeting to be combined with the 1st SUNBIO Workshop, which took place the following day on 18 November.
The workshop “Sustainable Wave Energy Harvesting and Marine Habitat Restoration Integrated with Marine Robotic Systems” was a significant milestone and the first in a series of workshops that will be held alongside future consortium meetings, bringing together all project partners and strengthening collaboration across the initiative.
During the meeting, partners presented their progress, focusing particularly on the technological developments of the SUNBIO platform. The sessions also addressed upcoming plans and future steps, fostering fruitful discussions and reinforcing the shared vision for the next phase of the project.
